One of the highlights of our members experience at the Country Club of Decatur is quite simply the food. Menus reflect the best of each season, offering the freshest of local produce with artfully prepared entrees and hors d’oeuvres by Executive Chef, Gary Prusa, Pastry Chef, Karly Woods, and their staff. Complementing the exquisite cuisine is an astounding array of artisan wines from our extensive wine cellar representing some of the world’s most celebrated wine regions. Members and their guests have the choice of year-round dining in either our boldly rich Terrace Room with majestic views of Lake Decatur or the more casual and newly renovated Grille Room. During the summer months we offer outdoor dining on the shady Upper Patio and newly constructed wrap-around deck that provides breathtaking views of Lake Decatur and the sunny Lower Patio over-looking the pool. The Snack Shop is also available during the summer months to swimmers and sunbathers. Throughout the year members are treated to a number of social and special seasonal events to enjoy with their families and friends. Additionally, every Sunday CCD offers an all you can eat brunch that includes a selection of salads, made to order omelets, numerous hot breakfast and lunch items and a variety of desserts.
